Shopping for Valentine's Day Gifts
My latest scene, created for Valentine's Day
2000, is set in a small boutique. Customers are shopping for the
perfect gift. Though the area is small, it's packed with all sorts
of treasures!
Here you see a father and daughter sitting
in the boutique. The sales associate is showing them the latest fashion,
an outfit from the Wild Style Barbie.
The newspaper is a small cutout version
of the USA Today. The Talbots shopping bag was constructed from a
magazine advertisement by my friend, Nancy.
The chairs were purchased at the Dollar
Tree store in 1997. The Neiman Marcus bags were a gift from my friend,
Allison.
The mannequin in the background was a table
gift at the national convention in Atlanta. The mannequin was outfitted
with the Wedding Day repro fashion.
Ken is purchasing a gift of jewelry.
The Tiffany bag was purchased at a miniatures show. The red giftbox
adorned with hearts was a gift from a miniatures group swap.
