Breakfast in Bed
The bench is filled with various gifts, boxes of small chocolates, which I received in several minitures swaps, two teddy bears, a small frog, gift boxes and miniature Valentine's Day cards. ![]() The ice bucket was included with a silver-toned Mattel tea set. I filled it with clear floral beads to give the look of ice cubes. The champagne bottle is a Wilton cake candle with the wick pulled out. Under the nightstand is a sewing basket I put together. Inside are small sections of fabric, a piece of cross stitch cloth, small beads affixed to a card to resemble buttons, a button that's really a pair of scissors, a tape measure made from a piece of bright gold thin ribbon and several balls of yarn. I inserted two pins to give the appearance of knitting needles. ![]() ![]() The lamp is also from the Mattel desk accessory set, as is the small mirror on the top right and the feather pen and inkwell. The four perfume bottles on the round tray were constructed from beads and placed on the round disk extracted from the center of a 3.5" floppy diskette. Various jewelry pieces were found in Mattel accessory sets. The long white gloves were taken from the repro Enchanted Evening outfit. The gold clutch purse is a vintage 70's fashion doll purse. The Talc box is from a vintage Barbie outfit. The gold tray is from a late 90's Mattel bathroom set. The blue and clear perfume bottles were made by Barb J. in St. Petersburg. The cute clear bottle of miniature Brach's candy message hearts was a swap from an internet miniatures email list. The tissue box can be found on Jim Collin's website. |
