The Holiday Kid's Room
Here's the kid's room!
The crib and bathtub and sink were purchased in playsets produced by Mattel. The shelf in the back was taken apart and I spray painted the back black. The gumball bank is actually a magnet. There are tons of miniature toys. Mostly things like MicroMachines and Disney mini playsets. The wagon was purchased at Michael's crafts and is a replica of a Radio Flyer wagon. The Pink Teddybear was handmade. I purchased that at a doll show in 1997. The toychest is a small wooden trunk purchased in the craft section of Walmart. I spray painted it white and added the toys inside. The dresser is a set of matchboxes, glued stacked on top of each other. I then spray painted a granite-look spray on the exterior. I made the shopping bags to the left of the dresser. You can get instructions by clicking HERE! I made the vintage dollcase next to the dresser. It is a replica of the Little Tykes playhouse. The rocking horse I purchased in the craft section at Walmart in 1998. I just spray painted it white.
