Easter Basket Instruction

Easter Basket

DIRECTIONS FOR EASTER BASKET:

  1. Get a small miniature sized basket. I found them at Michael's 5 for $1.00.
  2. Put a small amount of shreaded Easter grass in the bottom of the basket.
  3. I put a small flocked bunny or bear in the basket. Found these at Walmart in craft section or you can use the ones found in the cake decorating section.
  4. I also found a chenille chick and added that to the basket.
  5. Wrapped the handle with ribbon to decorate.
  6. I cut little packages of candy from the ads in the Sunday paper and Elmer's glued them to cardboard, put Elmer's glue on top as a sealer. Let this dry and cut them out.
  7. Placed those around the edge of the basket to look like packages of candy.
  8. Then I bought small wooden egg shapes, you can find these decorated at Michael's or Walmart or the Dollar Store around Easter; or you could find plain wooden eggs in the craft section in Joann Fabrics year round. Bought a bag of human Easter chocolate eggs.
  9. Took the colored foil off very carefully, explain that to your family and friends! And cut the foil in half. Reused the foil and covered the wooden egg shapes and made a small-sized 'chocolate' Easter egg. Wrapped the basket in pink cellophane wrapping found at Target and also seen at the Dollar Store and tied with a ribbon just like the Russell Stover Easter Baskets.
  10. Embellished this basket with small Easter stickers.
